About Me

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Database Group at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), under the supervision of Prof. Sibo Wang, since August 2023.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in July 2023.

From July 2025, I spent five months as a visiting student in the Data Systems Group at the University of Waterloo (UWaterloo), working with Prof. Xiao Hu.

My research focuses on theoretically-grounded algorithms and systems for managing large-scale and dynamic data, with particular emphasis on sampling, indexing, and approximation. In parallel, I am beginning to explore data management for AI agents and autonomous systems. This emerging direction is motivated by the observation that agents interact with data in fundamentally different ways than human users, calling for new abstractions and system designs.

Looking ahead, my goal is to develop principled data management foundations that support both traditional data-intensive applications and emerging agent-centric workloads.

I welcome discussions and collaborations in database theory and algorithms, as well as in data systems for AI agents.
